There are several Wildcard Wilderness pathways to choose from when building on top of your knowledge and skills in self-reliance including Survival Leadership, Wilderness Lifestyle, and Adventure Readiness experiences.
Survival Leadership Pathway
The Wilderness Survival and Land Navigation 101 courses are focused on survival priorities such as fire, shelter, water, food procurement, and self-rescue.
These are beginner courses designed for participants of all skill levels.
Wilderness Lifestyle Pathway
Ethnobotany and Basecamp Essentials are workshops tailored to individuals who want to deepen their connection to the outdoors through nature-based learning and forage resources such as edible, medicinal, and utilitarian plants to enhance their lifestyle.
Adventure Readiness Pathway
Wildcard Wilderness curates a wilderness skills training pathway called Adventure Readiness that focuses on training individuals for emergency preparedness in remote settings.
The STEP (Survival Training Expedition Program) provides a unique learning opportunity in a remote setting and is for those who feel ready to hit the trail but crave a deeper understanding of what to do should an emergency arise.
